Think all billing companies are the same? Think Again!
MBMS has been serving radiology practices for almost a quarter century and currently provides billing for more than 450 radiologists. As one of the largest and best performing billing companies in the country, MBMS is able to provide its client’s with exceptional customer service and unparalleled financial results.
MBMS’s industry-leading performance is the result of our substantial investments in billing automation technology. This automated process reduces errors and improves turnaround time, allowing us to provide a higher clean claims rate, lower days on books, and better net collections than other firms.

MBMS consistently outperforms the competition. Our experienced coders and billers ensure that invoices are properly coded and “clean” before they are submitted. As a result, our A/R days and bad debt rates are significantly lower than the industry standard, while our net collection rates are higher.
MBMS’s state of the art dashboard analytics program allows you to see your billing performance in real time, at the push of a button. Additionally, the system can be configured to automatically email you your desired metrics on any schedule you might prefer, and to run ad hoc reports at any time.
The value added services MBMS provides to its clients at no additional cost are unmatched across the industry. There are no set up or start up fees; nor do we charge extra for credentialing, postage, custom programming, interfaces, or PQRI reporting. Annual coding updates and training and third party contracting assistance, if desired, are also provided at no charge. MBMS also provides its clients with access to their own personal digital lockbox, again at no additional charge. This electronic process will convert all paper checks and EOBs to digital files, which will then be stored in a searchable format for future reference.
The MBMS Billing System is highly automated, providing improved efficiency at a lower cost. Demographic information is obtained electronically from the practice’s RIS or HIS software on a daily basis, and loaded into the billing software, where it is automatically scanned to ensure all necessary information is complete and correct. Exceptions are flagged for the attention of a dedicated account team who will resolve any issues prior to the claims being created and submitted. Coding is performed by certified coders who read each report; feedback is provided to the practice where appropriate to ensure that the physicians are paid appropriately for the work that has been performed.
